George Mason University, along with partner the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, is proud to host the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment (WYSE). Each summer, WYSE welcomes High School National Youth Delegates from across the country. Curriculum includes hands-on learning from industry leaders and allows students to experience an integrated and forward-thinking approach to the environment, while acquiring valuable knowledge.
George Mason University is proud to host of the Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC) and each summer welcomes high school student leaders from all over the country as National Youth Correspondents. The conference curriculum includes hands-on learning with industry leaders from international media outlets and Washington insiders. National Youth Correspondents will experience an integrated and forward-thinking approach to journalism and media, while acquiring valuable knowledge.
